Cabier Ocean Lodge is a family-run holiday resort and is situated on a small, low peninsula which is surrounded by the sea on three sides. On one side is a perfect honey-coloured sand beach with clear calm sea. On the other is a beautiful shallow bay with coral reefs. On the headland, is an endless view over the wide expanse of the open ocean. Enjoy the beauty of the natural tropical landscape.
On the landward side, hills rise gently up to the peak of Mount Saint Catherine at 2,750 feet. Rain forests with several famous waterfalls complete the picture. Do not fail to visit the many attractions of the island or one of the many national parks and mangrove swamps, or enjoy a trip to one of the lovely neighbouring islands.
Cabier Ocean Lodge is located near the small town of Crochu on the southeast coast of Grenada, between two bays in the turquoise sea. The journey to the capital St. George's, with its international airport, takes about 45 minutes. Cabier is a most beautiful place and is often described as Grenada's hidden treasure.
Dining
Restaurant and Bar Terrace. Enjoy your food flanked by the shade of mango trees, where we have accommodated our restaurant terrace and the small bar area. This area is one of the hallmarks of the Cabier Ocean Lodge. Here you will enjoy your food together with a great vista over the ocean and the adjoining bays. You can watch the turquoise colored waves near the coral reef, the pelicans and the local fishermen in their small boats during their work.
Activities (optional - on request)
"We have expanded our small wildlife rescue center. We built a donkey ranch, with which we do tours. A small farm. The guests can go in and pet rabbits, small goats, small ducks and small chicks. We are currently building a small Trail where we show all fruit trees, plants, flowers and spices with signs and of course also with a tour guide in German, English or French to explain our place."
About Grenada
Cooled by the trade winds, Grenada’s location in the southern Caribbean ensures your holiday is enjoyable throughout the year with temperatures in the late 70's to 80’s. Although small in size, the island is big in heart, and always offers a friendly welcome. With verdant, stunning mountainous topography, soaring waterfalls and clamorous tropical rainforests, the island offers exciting tours of the spectacular and truly unspoilt interiors, much of which is a national park. The island of Grenada offers old world West Indian charm rarely found today and of course the beautiful, powder soft, white sand beaches and turquoise Caribbean waters that you may expect to find.
